Within hours of launching our new program to get frontline health care workers desperately needed PPE, this team has raised almost $10,000! The average donation was $18.80, meaning most folks are donating enough to cover the cost to make and ship two face shields.

We’re reaching out today with a fast, easy way to help veterans and front-line health care workers caring for them during this global health crisis.
We’re proudly partnering with American Roots, a 100% American Made and proudly USW Local 366 Union Made company, to send personal protective equipment (PPE) to health care workers in state-run veterans’ homes during the COVID-19 crisis.
After our pilot program, we’ll expand this effort to multiple states across the country to ensure health care workers caring for our veterans have the equipment they need to stay safe.
State veterans’ homes are a critical resource. They provide shelter and care to veterans in need and were initially established during the post-Civil War era to provide shelter to homeless and disabled veterans.
Employees and caregivers in these homes are putting their personal health and safety on the line every day to provide the resources and assistance our veterans deserve. Now it’s up to us to say thank you by sending them the sorely needed PPE they need to safely do their jobs.
