Friends,
While COVID-19 ravages communities in America and around the world, we now know that people who breathe polluted air are much more susceptible than those who don't.
But while most of us are focused on keeping our families fed and safe, Trump is secretly relaxing the rules for air polluters and forcing countless Americans to face more dire -- and often lethal -- health outcomes during this devastating pandemic.
Now is not the time to ignore recommendations of scientists and put polluters before the environment and the wellbeing of our families and neighbors. And low-income Americans and communities of color -- who are disproportionately impacted by the effects of COVID-19 -- are already exposed to higher levels of air pollution, further increasing their risks.
Rolling back our hard-fought environmental protections -- for the sake of profits -- is not an acceptable environmental policy, especially as we see daily the toll this can take. We must demand Trump and his administration take immediate action to adopt stricter air quality standards before it's too late.

It's clear that Trump is focused on using this crisis as an excuse to undo our efforts to protect the environment and combat climate change. And right now, these reckless decisions are costing lives.
We must show Trump and his polluter-friendly administration that we will no longer turn a blind eye to their opportunistic, anti-science agenda. Add your name next to Jason's now >> [link removed]
