Hi there,

Today isn't just Earth Day -- it's the 50th anniversary of the first Earth Day, way back in 1970. Since then, we've made so much progress enacting environmental protections to safeguard our air, water, and lands.

But we still have a long way to go. Here in Utah, we see the effects of pollution every day in our poor air quality. And now, this issue may be more relevant than ever: A recent Harvard study showed a link between air pollution levels and COVID-19 death rates.

Clean air is essential to keeping our families and our planet healthy, and we have to act now. So on this Earth Day, can you add your name to our petition to show that we haven't lost focus on this issue?

Like so many of our environmental problems, this isn't an easy fix, but it's one worth working towards. It's going to take a lot of steps -- and a lot of people -- working together to improve our air quality and protect our earth for future generations.

Today, we're asking you to be one of those people. Can you sign our petition for cleaner air to show that even in these unprecedented times, we haven't forgotten about the environmental fight ahead?

Thank you for standing with us and everyone else taking action on this Earth Day.
