I’m proud to support Eugene Vindman’s campaign for U.S. Congress! Eugene is a dad, a Ukrainian immigrant, and an Army veteran with a track record of standing up to Trump and MAGA Republicans — even when it’s hard.

Eugene’s story truly embodies the American Dream — born in Soviet Ukraine to a Jewish family, Eugene and his family lived under an authoritarian regime during the height of the Cold War. After his mother died of cancer when he was three years old, his father packed up Eugene, his brothers, and his grandmother, and fled to the United States as refugees.
Eugene and his brothers attended public schools in Brooklyn and learned English, and once he graduated, Eugene joined the military to serve the country that had given him and his family so much.
Two decades of military service later, in 2019, Eugene and his brother Alex blew the whistle on President Trump’s attempted extortion of the Ukrainian President to investigate the Biden family.
The rest is history — Trump was impeached in the House, and acquitted by the Senate. And then two days later, Trump fired Eugene and Alex from their jobs in the White House.
By blowing the whistle, Eugene honored his commitment to protecting America, serving others, and defending our country’s values, no matter the consequences.
Now, Eugene is taking on a new mission with his Congressional campaign, working to protect our democracy, restore our freedoms, and ensure all our communities can thrive.
The fact is, many of our most fundamental rights are on the ballot this November, from a woman’s right to choose, to a student’s right to learn in a safe, high-quality public school, to a worker’s ability to enter the middle class, and a voter’s right to make their voice heard.
I have no doubt that while in Congress, Eugene will fight to protect and expand those rights. I’d be proud and honored to work alongside him in Congress, but it’s a tough election cycle, so we’re going to need your help along the way.
