Following President Biden's announcement that he will no longer seek reelection, I want to share my profound respect for his willingness to pass the torch and my deepest gratitude for his historic leadership.

Now, without a second to lose between today and Election Day, we need to do everything we possibly can to elect Kamala Harris as our next president. She is exactly the woman we need to prosecute the case against Donald Trump, save American democracy, lead the fight to restore abortion rights, and build an economy that puts working people – not billionaires – first. 

There is no doubt in my mind that Kamala Harris can win, but she can't do it alone – and the stakes are too high for anyone to sit on the sidelines. That's why I'm turning to you today to urgently ask:

Please, will you split a donation of $5 or more now between Kamala Harris's presidential campaign and my campaign to save our Senate majority? Your support today will go a long way toward defeating Donald Trump and keeping the Senate blue.

While Kamala Harris and my Democratic colleagues in the Senate have been doing everything we possibly can to make life better for hardworking Americans, Donald Trump and the GOP have done nothing but work to take our country backward.

They've restricted access to reproductive care, slashed taxes for the ultrarich at the expense of key programs like Social Security and Medicare, and they've worked tirelessly to obstruct progress at every turn. That's not even mentioning the fact that Donald Trump is a convicted felon, whose lies caused an insurrection.

We absolutely cannot allow Trump and his extremist allies to take control of the White House and the Senate. Too much is at stake. But friend, we've got our work cut out for us.

Politico reports that Democrats this election will be facing a "Senate map from hell," as we defend two-thirds of the seats up for reelection – and the GOP is just TWO seats shy of retaking Senate control. As you read this, GOP dark-money donors are pouring millions into flipping several battleground states red, and whether or not they succeed will come down to whether we have enough resources to fight back.

That's why it's so important to pitch in whatever you're able to spare today – because Kamala Harris, my Democratic colleagues, and I can't defeat Donald Trump and save our majority without the grassroots support of folks like you.
