By now I know you have heard that President Biden has decided not to run for reelection. I want to thank him for his public service to our country.
From my personal relationship with the President, I can tell you that what truly set him apart throughout his career was his heart and compassion for others. Many Iowans, including myself, have heard from Joe personally when tragedy struck our lives. He always made time for people. I urge all Americans to thank President Biden.
Now, more than ever, it’s crucial for Democrats to come together in our quest to defeat Donald Trump and the GOP this November to deliver a better deal for all Iowans.
In Iowa, we're campaigning with the same compassion with which President Biden always led. We're talking to voters about access to public education, protecting reproductive rights, and standing with working people.
We have a plan to take back the majority in the State Senate, and it starts in 2024.
