John, Four years ago, the sheer scale and scope of President Joe Biden's accomplishments were inconceivable.

We faced a cascade of crises: a deadly pandemic, insurrection, and an economy in freefall. President Biden led our nation back from the brink. He reestablished our reputation leading on the international stage. He strengthened NATO and added Sweden and Finland as members. He rallied our international allies in support of Ukraine following Russia's ruthless and unprovoked invasion. He enacted landmark legislation to rebuild and renew America, lower prescription drug prices, bolster domestic manufacturing, and combat the climate crisis. He enacted the single largest investment in clean energy made by any government in history.

President Biden has made the right decision to spend the remainder of his presidency implementing these landmark achievements. He is cementing his legacy by putting our country first.

Now, we must all turn our undivided attention to defeating Trump in November. There is no one better positioned than Vice President Kamala Harris to lead us to victory. [[link removed]]

She has a proven track record as California's attorney general, a U.S. senator, and vice president of the most successful administration in the last 50 years. She has cast more tie-breaking votes than any vice president in history. She has led the effort to restore reproductive freedom across the country. Critically, she has proven to be formidable on the campaign trail, providing a clear contrast against Trump.

There is no doubt in my mind she will bring this record of success to the White House.

But it will not be easy. Trump is a serial liar with a blatant disregard for basic human decency. He sows division wherever and whenever possible. Vice President Harris will face unprecedented levels of vitriol as the first Black woman leading a presidential ticket.

We all need to do our part to support her between now and November. [[link removed]]

That starts with donating what you can to her campaign today. Her first full day of campaigning saw the largest fundraising day of the entire cycle, raising a record-breaking $81 million.

In the months to come, there will be no shortage of opportunities to support her campaign. I look forward to sharing these efforts with you. In the meantime, we must continue to give her campaign the strong start it needs. Our democracy depends on us all doing our part. Could you begin with a contribution today? [[link removed]]

Courage,
