We’ve made it so far. We’re starting to see the light at the end of the
tunnel...and these next few days are critical.


While we still have a little bit longer to hunker down at home, with Indiana’s
stay-at-home order extended until May 1, we wanted to share with youa list of
some of our favorite Indiana-related content you can stream from your couch.

* Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam CJ Walker (Netflix) - the story of
the first self-made, female, American millionaire. A continued source of
inspiration, her portrait hangs in Eric’s office!
* Parks & Rec (Netflix) - everyone’s favorite show about Pawnee, Indiana —
who doesn’t love Leslie Knope, Ron Swanson, Donna Meagle and the gang?
* Stranger Things (Netflix) - you can take a dive into the supernatural world
of Hawkins, Indiana!
* The Middle (Amazon Prime) - Fictional Orson, Indiana is based off Jasper!
* Bob Ross: Beauty if Everywhere (Netflix) - this all-time classic was filmed
in Muncie! Remember, there are no mistakes… just happy accidents.
* Good Bones (HGTV) - see what Two Chicks and a Hammer do to old houses in
the historic Indianapolis Fountain Square and Bates Hendricks neighborhoods.
* Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives (Food Network) - ok this isn’t only about
Indiana, but it has featured several Indiana restaurants in Flavortown!
* Saved By the Bell (Hulu) - this one might be a stretch, but the first
season was set in Indianapolis and called Good Morning Miss Bliss!
* Eva A-7063, The Story of Eva Kor (PBS) - this is truly an amazing story of
perseverance and courage. Eva was a dear friend of Governor Holcomb’s.You can

* The Music Makers of Gennett Records (PBS) - Curious about the history of
Gennett Records?Find out what some of the early 20th Century’s biggest names in
music recorded in Richmond.

* Ernie Pyle, Life in the Trenches (PBS) - The life story of the renowned war
correspondent and legendary Hoosier journalist.You can watch the documentary

stream or download through public broadcasting and your local library.
