Donald Trump has consistently tried to shift blame onto anyone but himself when it comes to his failed leadership on the coronavirus outbreak. But in doing so, he’s now taken one of his most drastic steps yet: defunding the World Health Organization.
In a crisis as grave as this one, it’s crucial that public health experts and researchers continue to confront the coronavirus head-on – especially the WHO, which is responsible for coordinating the global response to the current pandemic.
