Team,

Yesterday was an action-packed day. Over the course of just a few hours, President Biden made the selfless decision to step down from the Presidential ticket and endorsed Kamala Harris. In doing so, he underscored the depth and greatness of his selflessness and service. We should remain forever grateful for what he accomplished during his presidency: COVID Recovery, the Inflation Reduction Act, and delivering generational investments in the midwest including right here in Toledo and Northern Ohio. 

We've got no time to waste though, team. The GOP is still working overtime to expand their House majority this fall, and as one of five Democratic members who won in a Trump district in 2022, we know they're coming after my seat and our community. 

We can't let them win. 

The GOP and their dark-money allies are already poised to spend millions to try to flip this seat. While many things have changed after yesterday's announcement, their interest in coming after me has not. That's why I'm calling on you, friend.
