Vote Pro-Choice is thrilled to officially endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States!

Vice President Harris has a deep understanding of reproductive freedom as an intersectional issue, one that is about economic equality as well as gender parity—it’s why we were previously proud to endorse her in her Senate race.

She’s been in this fight for a long time, first in local and state office; then in the Senate, with her staunch opposition to the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh; and for the past three years, as Vice President.

Kamala Harris has proactively led the national conversation about abortion rights for years: in 2020, before Roe was overturned, she was the *only* speaker to address reproductive justice on opening night of the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

In the Biden-Harris administration, she has led the national response to the decision overturning Roe, championing policies that tangibly help patients in the face of unrelenting attacks on access.

Now, her top-of-ticket leadership creates new pathways to victory for candidates all over the country at the state and local levels. City councilors, state and county judges, and state legislators continue to be on the frontlines of the fight for reproductive freedom, and Kamala Harris has long had their backs as they take the issue head on.

We can translate this momentum into serious, impactful victories across the country—but we need to invest in these races.
