John, Since the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act, the freedom to vote in America has been eroding. State legislatures have passed over 100 pieces of legislation to restrict voting rights, enact extreme gerrymandering, conduct voter roll purges, and close polling locations. Republican voter suppression efforts—from Florida to Georgia to Texas—are rooted in Jim Crow–era tactics.
