The gaudy spectacle of the
Republican National Convention revealed the true reactionary face of
their political schemes and plans. Trump’s draconian vision, cloaked
under the Orwellian promise to “Make America Great Once Again”
includes:
- Demonizing and scapegoating hard working immigrants, vowing to
shut the border and finish building the wall
- Rolling
back reproductive rights
- Decreasing the already paltry taxes paid by big
corporations
- Bullying
sovereign nations into submission to U.S. military
dominance
- Rolling
back hard fought for gains by the 2SLGBTQIA+ community,
and
- Catapulting us closer to the brink of climate catastrophe with
his demand that we “Drill, baby, drill” our children’s futures
away
Contrast that to Jill’s humanistic
vision for the people:
- Economic
equity that includes a $25 an hour minimum wage
- Healthcare and housing as human rights
- Abolish
ICE, grant amnesty to undocumented people, create an expedited path to
citizenship
- Stopping
military aggression around the world for a lasting peace
- Declaring a climate emergency on day one and implementing a real
Green New Deal to reverse the course of climate disaster we’re heading
towards.
- Full
equal rights for women and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community including the
right to make autonomous decisions about their own bodies, free of
government interference
The anti-Democratic Party claims
that they’re all that stand between the Republican Party’s dark,
authoritarian plans for our nation and yet they have enabled and
capitulated to them at every turn for over a generation, moving
further and further to the right to keep up with them.
The Republican National Convention
makes clear that the dirty duopoly isn’t the answer. Only Jill and the
Green Party stand firm in resistance to Trump and the Republicans.
Jill is the candidate whose heart is for the people and who will fight
for the policies that the American people want and the world needs at
this critical moment. As President, Jill will give the people a
