Team, I’m sure you saw the news: President Biden has announced that he will no longer be seeking a second term.

President Biden’s lifetime of service is a testament to the most American of ideals — patriotism, democracy, freedom. The country owes President Biden an unpayable debt.

As always, with this decision Biden is proving you can count on him to put country over politics. And I am thrilled to join President Biden in supporting Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic nominee. She has been instrumental for many of the historic achievements of the administration.

Vice President Harris is the right person to defeat Trump. She will prosecute the case against the former President and help protect our democracy.

She will always fight for Pennsylvanians across our Commonwealth, and has the talent, ability, grit, grace, and decency to win this election and lead our nation.

We have a little over 100 days until Election Day and we can’t let up on our work, especially at the grassroots level where voters are energized and ready to unite and win.

Let’s get to campaigning — we have no time to waste.
