by S.A. McCarthy |
After weeks of mounting pressure, President Joe Biden announced on Sunday that he will be retiring his reelection campaign, resulting in comments, kudos, condemnations, and conspiracy theories from both Left and Right. Despite claiming that it is "in the best interest of my party and the country" to discontinue his reelection efforts, Biden made no mention of resigning from office. |

Gutting of GOP Platform Is 'Inexcusable'; 'This Kind of Incoherence ... Is an Embarrassment': Princeton Prof |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
After the fast-tracked platform adoption at this month's Republican National Convention, pro-lifers are still reeling. Social conservatives like Princeton's Dr. Robert George, a preeminent legal mind, are appalled at the hollowing out of the party's guiding document, which abandoned the GOP's core principles and specific vision for the unborn. In a candid conversation with Family Research Council President Tony Perkins on last Thursday's "Washington Watch," Dr. George outlined how devastating the RNC's rewrite is to the cause of life, marriage, and family - and where Christian voters go from here. |

After Attempted Assassination, Secret Service Failures Scrutinized |
by Joshua Arnold |
The first attempt to explain last weekend's unconscionable security failures at Donald Trump's Butler, Pa. rally left members of Congress deeply unsatisfied. After a conference call earlier this week with U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle and FBI Director Christopher Wray, legislators complained that the officials filled the time by talking about everything except their failures and left nearly no time for questions. |

Biden Plans for 'Absurd,' 'Dangerous,' 'Unconstitutional' Changes to SCOTUS |
by Sarah Holliday |
President Joe Biden reportedly plans to announce his approval for major changes to the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS), including term limits for the justices and the enforcement of an ethics code. This comes, the Daily Caller notes, as Biden and Democrats attempt to "cast the Supreme Court as dangerous" and "out of control." But conservatives are not falling for such a set up. Rather, notable Republican figures such as House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) have described the proposed changes as nothing short of "absurd." |

California's newest law only cements his legacy as the preeminent national leader for pumping girls with testosterone and cutting off their breasts and setting up boys for a lifetime of estrogen injections and complications after a penectomy and vaginoplasty. |

For years, Dana and Jewell Onifer hoped and prayed for children, but in God's providence they never succeeded in having a child of their own. "My wife had always kind of felt that she wasn't going to have children, and that we were going to adopt," Dana, a doctor of family medicine in North Carolina, told The Washington Stand. "I was expecting to do both, but adoption is what we ended up with." |

From the Castro Catacombs, the Alliance of Christians of Cuba Fights for Freedom |
by Yoe Suarez |
The members of the Alliance of Christians of Cuba, in the catacombs of Castroism, promote knowledge of human rights, especially freedom of expression and religion, attention to the impoverished population, to prisoners, both political and common, and have called on Cuban parents to reject school impositions from the State. From the moment of the Alliance's founding in 2022, there was pressure from State Security on some pastors so that they did not participate in the initiative, composed mainly of leaders of churches that the regime refuses to register. |

Embracing Weakness Allows Us to Understand Our Strength Is Found in Christ |
by Sarah Holliday |
There seem to be many paradoxes in Scripture. Not in the sense that the Bible contradicts itself, but in the sense that the Bible proclaims truth that makes no sense to those who are not in Christ. Even for believers, we're struck by the unfathomable workings of a God who makes beauty from ashes. |

3 Examples in the Parable of the Prodigal Son: Which One Most Speaks to You? |
by Sarah Holliday |
What if I told you the topics of impatience, pride, jealousy, bitterness, faithfulness, and unconditional love were all included in the same parable? Would you believe me? Well, considering Scripture is rich beyond measure, perhaps you would. It didn't take long for me to see how the parable of the prodigal son was one most are familiar with. But over the years, it appears I only gradually understood just how much this parable has to offer. This is no revolutionary discovery on my part, but it's certainly worth probing. |
