Friend —
I’ll keep this short, but I wanted to reach out in light of yesterday’s news. President Biden has made the decision to put our country first, and has withdrawn from the presidential election. I want to thank the president for his life of public service, and for honoring that legacy with his decision yesterday.

Let’s be clear: Our country is at a crossroads, and the election this November could be the end of democracy as we know it. Rick Scott is one of the architects of the GOP’s catastrophic vision for America, and a Scott-led Senate is one of the greatest threats to progress. It has never been more important that we organize and work hard to reach every voter, tell them what’s at stake on November 5, and get them to the polls.
We must stand united against the attacks on our freedoms and democracy. This election will come down to whether we can unify as Americans to protect our values, freedoms, and opportunities of this incredible nation, or whether we allow extreme right-wing politicians to take control for power and self-enrichment.
