Today, Benjamin Netanyahu, a wanted war criminal, arrives in Washington, D.C.. On Wednesday, July 24th, he is scheduled to address a joint session of Congress by invitation from both the House and Senate. Providing this platform to Netanyahu, who is actively carrying out affirmed acts of genocide, is an affront to the over 140,000 Palestinians killed or injured in the past nine months. This action is especially immoral in light of the recent decision by the International Court of Justice, which determined that Israel's continued presence in the occupied Palestinian territory is unlawful and should come to an end "as rapidly as possible." By extending this invitation, both Congress and President Biden (who is set to meet with the war criminal tomorrow) are blatantly disregarding international law and the call for justice. Join us and our partners on Wednesday, July 24th, in Washington, D.C., as we stand united in the largest rejection of a foreign diplomatic visit in U.S. history.
