I’m sure you’ve seen the news. Earlier today, President Joe Biden stepped down as the Democratic nominee for President.
I want to thank President Biden for his over 60 years of service to our great nation and for the legacy of selfless leadership he cements with his decision today — a stark contrast to the legacy of chaos and disorder Donald Trump continues to inflict on our nation.
In 2020, President Biden saved our nation from a ruin from which we may never have recovered: another term under Trump.
His decision today will ensure Democrats can once again safeguard our democracy and shows the difference between a selfless leader and Donald Trump, a selfish person.
Vice President Harris is tough, whip-smart, and ready to lead us into victory in November. She’s trained with the best — Joe Biden. I stand with her all the way and am ready to do whatever it takes to win.
