A public opinion poll shows that 60% of Americans say they trust Dr. Fauci.
It’s easy to see why -- according to the BBC, Fauci “has become a trusted presence behind the podium at White House COVID-19 briefings, where he has dispensed facts about the US response, explaining the science and sometimes correcting President Trump’s pronouncements.”
In a recent interview, Fauci said that through his long career of public service, he has chosen to “stick with the science, stay completely out of the politics.”
But Fauci has become a target of the far-right and those who think the country should re-open at all costs. Given how this unpolitical man has been forced into a political focus, we want to know what you think:
