Earlier today, President Biden decided to not seek reelection. When he leaves office, he will have devoted more than five decades of public service to our nation. He helped us recover from the pandemic, achieved the highest job creation of any President in modern history, passed the historic and bipartisan infrastructure law, and oversaw the rebirth of the American auto and steel manufacturing and energy sectors right here in Northern Ohio. 

There's no question he stands tall as a steadfast champion of working men and women. I deeply respect his selfless decision to step aside. 

But, friend, right now we also have an enormous challenge ahead in making sure we regain our House majority and continue delivering for Northern Ohio families. That work cannot stop.
