John, I'll get straight into why I'm reaching out: Benjamin Netanyahu is preparing to address Congress next week during our joint session.
It's extremely disappointing that we would allow a war criminal the platform to double down on his extremist beliefs while we are still tiptoeing around providing aid to Gaza and calling for a permanent ceasefire. Before I say more, I need your help to send Netanyahu a message — will you join me and my colleagues in our continued call for a ceasefire? >>
John, the destruction and chaos we've seen in Gaza has been devastating. In just over 280 days, over 38,000 Palestinians – many of whom are innocent children – have been murdered.
And while extremists will continue to push their dangerous rhetoric, I want to say this: since day one of this terrible conflict, I've been steadfast in my call for peace and diplomacy.
My colleagues and I have been loud and unapologetic in our calls for a ceasefire, and while we've faced backlash, it absolutely will not weaken our commitment to fighting for what's right.
I'm writing to ask you to join us, John. We need to show the strength of support for this movement — please consider adding your name to the list of people supporting me and my colleagues as we continue to call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Thank you,
Congresswoman Delia Ramirez
