John,
I am profoundly grateful to President Joe Biden for his dedication and service to our country. He has demonstrated remarkable leadership and commitment to improving the lives of all Americans. His focus on creating jobs, raising wages, and enhancing the well-being of our communities has left an indelible mark on our nation.
The Biden-Harris administration has achieved unprecedented progress for the Black community. From job creation and rising wages to record investments in HBCUs and vital infrastructure,
their achievements have proven transformative.
They reduced Black unemployment to historic lows, supported Black families in building wealth, and addressed crucial issues like student loan forgiveness and cannabis conviction expungement.
Their work together made significant investments in transit, housing, clean water, and broadband, alongside defending Social Security, Medicare, and improving gun safety.
Vice President Kamala Harris, having been a steadfast partner to President Biden, is exceptionally qualified to continue this legacy. Her experience and commitment make her the ideal candidate to lead us forward. I wholeheartedly endorse and support her candidacy for President.
We need to be prepared for a tough fight over the next couple of months. Republicans are already using this moment to build momentum for their extremist candidates up and down the ballot. We have to have the resources to defend Democrats on the frontlines in Congress – and keep a Democrat in the White House.
Will you rush a split contribution between my campaign and Kamala Harris right now, while all eyes are on Democrats, to ensure we have the resources to fight and win?
The choice before us is clear: we can either continue to build upon the Biden-Harris administration's accomplishments or risk returning to a divisive agenda that seeks to undermine our progress. Trump's Project 2025 poses a threat to the rights and protections we have fought so hard to secure.
Now is the time for us to unite and ensure that we have the resources needed to take back the House and defend our achievements.
Marilyn
