I join Americans across the country in recognizing President Joe Biden’s extraordinary career in public service. I am proud to have worked alongside him and my colleagues in Congress to pass the biggest infrastructure package in modern history, lower health care costs for seniors and working families, and defend democracy both at home and abroad. Joe Biden has been one of the most effective presidents of our time, and his patriotism and selflessness are an example for us all.

As we reflect on his extraordinary accomplishments, it is time that we come together on a steady and unified path forward – for all future generations of Americans who will be deeply affected by the outcome of November’s election. That is why I am proud to join the President and many of my colleagues in supporting Kamala Harris to be our next President. She is an accomplished and exceptional public servant, and I look forward to working with her.

I want to take a minute to thank the hundreds of passionate constituents who have reached out over the past few weeks to share their thoughts during this uncertain time. I continue to keep their concerns at the forefront of every decision I make. As always, I’ll remain focused on doing the work I was elected to do, keeping my doors open to any resident of Pennsylvania’s 7th District in need of assistance, and working across the aisle to get things done for the American people.
