It’s official: President Biden has announced he is withdrawing from the 2024 Presidential race.
We are incredibly grateful for President Biden’s leadership, especially when it comes to the climate crisis. He has been the most consequential climate President in our nation’s history, and his impact will have a lasting impact on our country and our planet for generations.
President Biden was the first President to embrace the ambitious goal of reaching net-zero greenhouse gas pollution by 2050 to stabilize global temperatures at 1.5 degrees Celsius.
Then he got to work by negotiating and signing the Inflation Reduction Act into law - the single-most consequential climate legislation in history. The sweeping investments from this bill are helping to grow our clean energy economy and cut household energy costs.
President Biden has taken over 300 environmental actions to cut pollution from every sector of the economy including power plants, vehicles, oil wells, and more. Through these executive actions, the Biden Administration has our climate goals within reach.
Thanks to your help in 2022, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 118th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand. You can click here to only get our most important messages, or you can unsubscribe.
