President Joe Biden announced he’s dropping out of the presidential race.

President Biden spent most of his career in public service and proved his commitment toward always putting the interests of our democracy first. I admire his strong leadership and resilience, and I know this decision was not an easy one to make.

In the last four years, President Biden delivered progress for the American people. Under his leadership, the historic Infrastructure bill was passed allowing critical investments in our communities. As County Executive of Baltimore County, I saw firsthand the impact this legislation had on empowering our communities – we were able to invest in our roads and bridges, increase access to clean drinking water, and protect the Chesapeake Bay.

Now, the stakes for the election in November are higher than ever – we need Democrats in Congress who will continue to deliver progress for our community. Your contribution to our race today will ensure we have the resources to keep up our momentum and win.
