Since the moment we flipped this district in 2018, I’ve known that our seat would be one of the toughest in the country to hold onto. The election forecasters at POLITICO seem to agree, and this week, our race was named one of just a few pure toss-ups in the entire country.

A toss-up rating means that we’ve got a 50/50 shot at re-election. Our chances of winning in November could, quite literally, go either way on Election Day -- and Washington super PACs are already spending millions in dark money to make sure they come out on top.

In a race this tight, every vote and every dollar makes a huge difference. NY-22 was key to taking back the House in 2018, and I’m not prepared to let those inside the DC beltway buy it back this year.
