House Investigation on the Assassination Attempt on President Trump

Our prayers continue to be with President Trump and the victims of last week’s terrible assassination attempt. The American people deserve a thorough and transparent investigation into how this was allowed to happen. The House Oversight Committee Chairman Comer requested Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to testify on Monday, July 22. I look forward to her testimony as we continue to gather the facts, bring forth answers, and fight to ensure the safety of the American people.

Glioblastoma Awareness Day

Glioblastoma is the most common malignant brain tumor in the United States with 14,490 new cases diagnosed last year. July 17th marked “Glioblastoma Awareness Day” where people across the nation honored the patients, families, and caregivers who are fighting each day. I introduced a bipartisan resolution to increase glioblastoma awareness, which is critical to research and treatment advancements, and brings hope to those fighting this devastating disease. Together, we will continue to build on the progress we have made as we search for a cure to end glioblastoma.

Met With the Leaders of Brookshire’s

This week I had the opportunity to visit Brookshire’s Grocery Store in Willow Park to meet with leadership and tour the facility. I am thankful for the work these men and women do each day to provide the best for TX-25.

Visited Texas Lime Company

I met with leaders of Texas Lime Co. to hear about important issues they are facing and ways I can help in Congress. I was able to tour their service shop and gain a deeper insight into their daily operations. I will always be a proud supporter of TX-25 businesses!

In Case You Missed It!

When I heard the news that President Trump had been shot, it immediately took me back to the 2017 Congressional baseball shooting. Political violence has no place in our nation, as I and many of my colleagues know all too well. I joined WBAP, Fox LiveNOW, CBS, and Newsmax following the assassination attempt on President Trump.
