w/r/t - voter protection

Greetings John,

My name is Emma Harper, and I am Director of Operations here at the California Democratic Party (CADEM).

Part of my role is running our Voter Protection Team, and I am emailing you to give you an update on our voter protection initiatives here in California.

The California Democratic Party leads the nation’s largest Voter Protection Program. This includes a team of volunteer attorneys who will work through Election Day to ensure that voters in all corners of the state have the ability to fairly and equally exercise their right to vote.

Control of the U.S. House of Representatives is going to come down to California, and some of those make-or-break races are going to come down to just a few hundred voters. That’s why we need our Voter Protection efforts to be fully funded. Will you pitch in a donation of $15 or $35 right now?

Our Voter Protection Program includes a hotline managed by election protection volunteers so that voters have a direct line to ask questions or report any irregularities that might prevent EVERY vote from being counted.

In 2022, there were numerous toss-up races that were determined by the closest, most razor-thin margins. These races could’ve prevented Republicans from taking control of the U.S. House, but we fell short by just a HANDFUL of votes.

But because many grassroots supporters see California as a blue state on the Presidential level, we haven’t been able to fully fund this program that could deliver us the House Majority.

So what do you say, John? Will you make a donation of $15 or $35 right now? I’m dropping my personal ActBlue link below:

Thank you so much,

- Emma
