With the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee now adjourned, delegates from Texas are expressing positivity and renewed motivation to re-elect Donald Trump. The convention’s top order of business? Officially nominating Donald Trump as the presidential nominee, a task that took on deeper significance after the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania that killed one attendee and left others, including the former president, wounded. Texas delegates say they are energized and united after the convention. ”The whole event is electrifying with love for the country driving the spirit, and the whole stadium is celebrating with a united Republican party getting fired up to win the November election and doing what is best for the American people.” -Abhiram Garapati “I’ve participated as a delegate to the last four conventions, and 2024 is by far the most exciting and inspirational. Our country desperately needs new leadership, and Trump is the man, and now is the time!” -Gary Inmon “The message of uniting together so America can be safe again and great again is inspiring. The message of being the party of everyday hardworking Americans, who are joyful warriors, is exactly what this country needs.” -Amy Stretcher Burkes
