Happy Earth Day, folks!
50 years ago, I went to one of the first ever Earth Day demonstrations in Philadelphia. That day in 1970, millions of students, activists, and folks across the country took action to celebrate and protect our environment.
I wish that everyone cared about our Earth as much as the millions who rallied on that first Earth Day. But decades later, right-wing special interests and politicians are attacking our planet and ignoring the existential threat of climate change.
Washington is carving up our public lands and selling them to the highest bidder. The Trump Administration is rolling back key environmental protections. And Washington Republicans, like my opponent Cory Gardner, refuse to act on climate change.
We need to fight back and save our planet. I’ve got a bold plan to combat climate change, and to get to net zero carbon emissions by 2050 — or sooner! But I need your help to get to the U.S. Senate first.
If you’re financially able, can you add a contribution to our campaign to help us flip Colorado blue? Every dollar you give will help me fight in the Senate to protect our environment and preserve our public lands for generations to come.

There is no state more beautiful than Colorado, and no better place to celebrate the gifts that nature has given us. I know many of you are itching to get outside — and believe me, I am too! — but we’ve got to do all that we can to stay healthy right now.
Thank you, have a happy Earth Day, and — as always — stay safe and healthy.
