Because this district is the one that could determine which party controls Congress, I spend a lot of time thinking about the stakes of our race.

If we win, we’ll have a very real chance to defend abortion rights across the country and fight for an economy that puts working people before corporate billionaires.

If we lose, there could be nothing to stop MAGA extremists from implementing their Project 2025 agenda.

Our ability to protect American families, here in Oregon and across the country, from Project 2025 will come down to our ability to win this election. Project 2025 is a far-right blueprint for demolishing our public education system, rolling back all the progress we’ve made to fight climate change, ripping away access to affordable health care, and taking away abortion access in all 50 states — including here in Oregon.

To anyone who questions whether this is actually the agenda a Republican House majority would enact in their next term, I simply say: look at what they’ve tried to do in this term. Many of my Republican colleagues have publicly backed extremist proposals to ban abortion, defund public schools, and overturn the Affordable Care Act.

We also know that National Republicans view this district, OR-06, as critical to their plan to enact their Project 2025 Agenda — which is why they have already poured over $11 million into our media market to run attack ads, the biggest investment they’ve made anywhere in the country by millions of dollars.

BUT here’s the good news: this grassroots team has the power to take them on, if we all dig deep. We won a tough victory here in 2022, and I’m more committed than ever to winning once again. Will you join me?
