The Republican National Convention has wrapped up, and we have been reminded once again of the destructive agenda that Donald Trump and J.D. Vance plan to push forward in 2025. 

 

Their rhetoric is unhinged, and their policies are dangerous. 

 

It’s not hyperbole to say this is a defining moment for our nation, and we must confront the stark reality that our democracy is at risk.

 

What is particularly alarming is the shared corporate donor base between the hardline MAGA GOP and many Democrats.

 

This includes my opponent, Jimmy Gomez, who is beholden to many of the same special interests – like real estate investors, big banks, and the pro-Israel lobby – that back Trump and Vance.

 

The truth is corporate greed has no party affiliation.

 

With our democracy on the line, we cannot afford to elect leaders who are tied to the same donor class as those pushing for a dangerous and regressive agenda.
