Ryan here, Josh’s Campaign Manager. I just updated Josh on one of our most important campaign strategies and wanted to pass it along to you too.
Community organizing is the key to winning in districts like ours. Stockton, CA is the most diverse city in the country, and it’s a strategic imperative that we listen and learn from each community. This involves house parties, one-on-one meetings, and yes, lots of knocking on doors.
The good news is - it’s working. We set a new record for doors knocked last weekend! These conversations are making a huge difference, and we believe that on Election Day they will be the key to winning or losing.
Every time we connect with a voter, we have the chance to share Josh’s message, listen to their concerns, and build support. But, as we ramp up our efforts across the district, especially in our Latino communities, we need your help!
We’re looking to hire more field organizers and buy them the supplies they need to keep this momentum going. Door-knocking is one of the most effective strategies we have, but it takes resources to keep up.
