Folks, Brian Kemp is once again putting lives at risk here in Georgia.

The governor has announced that businesses will start to reopen across our state, putting workers and families at risk of contracting COVID-19.

This is just plain dangerous, and we need to make sure Kemp and GOP leaders everywhere know that we stand against these measures.

Restaurants, gyms, barbershops, nail salons… these are the businesses Brian Kemp is so eager to reopen to the public — and whose employees will be exposed to the virus if it turns out that it isn’t safe to reopen yet.

No one wants to get Georgia back to work more than I do. But the governor is making public safety decisions without consulting the experts and without conferring with the mayors of our largest cities, where the virus’s impact will be worst.
