I’m proud to be a SEEC member in Congress fighting to tackle the climate crisis and protect our planet for future generations.
But this year, I’m running in the most vulnerable seat for Democrats in California. We have to win this seat to take back the House majority and make more progress together.
Before being elected to Congress, I was an environmental attorney and co-founded a clean energy company, so these environmental-related issues aren’t new to me. Now I’m proud to serve on the House Natural Resources Committee, and I’m lead sponsor of the Clean Electricity and Transmission Acceleration Act, which is a massive package of reforms to clean up our power sector.
Here in California, we’re experiencing the harmful effects of the climate crisis every day with worsening droughts, heat waves, and wildfires. We have to take action now to prevent these climate-related disasters from getting worse.
I believe we can truly tackle this crisis if we work together to elect more SEEC climate activists who understand the urgency of the problem and what it’s going to take to solve it.
