Dear John,

It was a busy week, but I’m back to keep you in the loop on how I am fighting
for our conservative values.

I'd like to thank Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan for traveling to Minnesota last
Saturday to meet with patriots from the First and Seventh districts. He is a
battle-tested conservative with a proven track record of fighting for our
values and for the truth. That's why his visit was so important to our
community. In Chairman Jordan’s remarks, he spoke of meeting the moment and the
challenges we face as a nation. I couldn't agree more. And I am especially
grateful for his kind words about my work ethic:

“Before I came up to speak, I thought Michelle served on three committees. Now
she tells me she’s actually on four. You have one of the hardest working
Members of Congress, I’ll tell you what!”

Jim is not only a colleague, but a friend and patriot who cares deeply about
our country and its future. Let’s heed his advice: Let’s meet the moment - and
take back our country in November.

In yet another example of how the Biden administration does not understand (or
perhaps doesn’t care about) rural America, it is proposing major changes to the
Fire Brigades Standard. A new rule proposed by the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration (OSHA) could devastate volunteer fire departments with
new equipment mandates and administrative compliance. Minnesota has over 700
volunteer fire departments that are the lifelines in their communities and are
already struggling with rising costs and recruitment. That’s why I joined my
Minnesota Republican colleagues in a letter to Acting Labor Secretary Julie Su
to reconsider the entire rule or at least provide exemptions to volunteer fire
departments.

The Republican National Convention was a resounding success. President Trump
made a superb choice in entrusting Senator J.D. Vance with the vice presidency.
Vance is a pro-life America First conservative, unafraid of calling out the
Left for their woke gender politics or radical spending. I believe he and
President Trump are the right pair to unite the country. You heard that in the
President’s speech when he said, "I am running to be president for all of
America, not half of America, because there is no victory in winning for half
of America." Indeed, President Trump laid out a conservative platform to Make
America Wealthy, Safe, Strong and Great Again for everyone. We are going to
“drill, baby, drill,” lower taxes for the middle class and end the invasion on
our borders by finishing the wall and backing border patrol.

It doesn’t matter who the Democrats nominate. America cannot survive another
four years of their leadership. So this November, let’s right the ship, elect
President Trump and Make America Great Again!
