Yep, that’s Mikie’s MAGA insurrectionist opponent standing in front of the convention stage in Milwaukee. Here he is with Paul Manafort, a convicted felon who was previously Donald Trump’s campaign manager.

We already knew that Mikie’s GOP opponent was deeply passionate about the MAGA movement and their extreme agenda, so it’s no surprise that he was in attendance for Donald Trump’s coronation.

But now, we need to be on high alert. While the convention provides Republicans an opportunity to rally their base and earn primetime TV coverage, it also brings the GOP’s top operatives and donors to town to determine where to best spend their resources.

And since Donald Trump has added New Jersey to his “battleground” map, there’s no doubt Mikie’s opponent was working hard to earn their support. In a hotly contested election year like this one, a last-minute blitz in outside spending could spell major trouble.
