I know sometimes the news can be discouraging. Nationally, the media has a knack for making one side feel defeated before a ballot is even cast. I aim to offer you hope for a better day and a brighter future. It's not just rhetoric. It's all about possibilities. When we are united, nothing is out of reach.

Now is a time to dig deep, and find encouragement at the local level, at the Congressional level, with down-ballot races. When I turn off the TV and get out to talk to voters, it's clear - we know the difference between media hype and real, organic, grassroots momentum.

Friends, remember, it's not always a brand or idol that changes the course of the nation. It has been people's movements. And, from where I stand, I see that Americans are fired up to keep our democracy going — fired up but maybe uncertain.

I'm here to tell you that if you're ready to help move rural America forward, stand up to extremism, and keep up the fight — not a fight against our fellow Americans, but a fight for a cause — you are not alone.

We've been working for 35 months to start a new narrative with our neighbors, and our work will pay off.

We have power in perseverance. It's our tenacity and grit that will spark change. When we're knocked down, we get back up. When all of us keep our heads held high, we have power in numbers at the ballot box.
