Gov. Justice appoints Carl “Bill” Roop to the 44th District in House of Delegates
Gov. Justice has appointed Carl “Bill” Roop to the West Virginia House of Delegates for the 44th District representing Raleigh County. Roop fills the vacancy left by Todd Kirby, who was appointed as a circuit judge earlier this month.
The West Virginia Department of Economic Development administers the state’s Appalachian Regional Commision program, which is a partnership of federal, state and local participants providing financial and technical assistance for economic development and infrastructure projects.
The Governor’s recommendations will now be sent to ARC for final approval.
