John,
There are plenty of reasons why we need to do whatever it takes to defend
our narrow Senate majority, but I’ll do my best to narrow down the list to
5.
[ [link removed] ]Before I do that, would you please consider chipping in $5 — just $1
for each of the 5 reasons below — to help me and John Fetterman defeat
Republican Larry Hogan and keep Maryland’s Senate seat blue?

Alright, John, here we go!
1. Abortion rights: Republican legislators are rolling back abortion
rights around the country. One of Senate Republicans’ top priorities
is to pass a national abortion ban.
2. Climate crisis: We can’t take chances when it comes to preserving our
planet. Democrats passed the largest investment in green energy and
jobs in our country’s history, and Republicans are eager to repeal it.
3. Voting rights: When more people vote, Republicans lose. So the GOP
wants to make it harder for people to vote by chipping away at the
Voting Rights Act and passing voting restrictions.
4. Lowering costs: A Republican-controlled Senate would pass another
massive tax cut for corporations and the ultra-wealthy, leaving
working families to shoulder the burden.
5. The Supreme Court: We’ve already seen the far-right court overturn Roe
and overrule student debt relief. Democrats need Senate control to
have a say in future nominations.
For all these reasons (and so many more), we MUST defend our
majority, John. But if we lose
in Maryland, Republicans have a clear path to taking the Senate.

track to hit our goal. Can I count on you to chip in just $5, $25, or even
$50 to help me and John Fetterman defeat Larry Hogan and fend off a GOP
takeover?
