Happy Earth Day, John!

One year ago, we launched our campaign for Congress in CA-08.

On the day we launched, I traveled the entirety of our district — a trip that took over eight hours from Lee Vining down to Joshua Tree National Park. It was my way of highlighting the beauty of our district, and sending a message about how important it is that we get our act together in Washington to protect our environment.

This year, to commemorate Earth Day, Team Bubser put together a new video to celebrate the 33,000 square miles of pristine wilderness and federal lands in CA-08 that we love and will fight to protect. We hope you enjoy it.

John, when I launched a year ago, I never would have imagined that our country would be facing an unprecedented public health emergency. Schools, businesses — even some of the natural sites in this video have closed down.

This crisis has made it clear that we need leaders in Washington who are experienced and committed to listening to science — whether it’s about climate change or our public health. The stakes are simply too high not to.
