Coral Restoration Foundation to slow the impact of climate change on our marine
life and our reefs, to investing in clean energy and innovative infrastructure,
I have been working for years to protect our environment. That work continues.

Today, I hope you take the time to think about how blessed we are to live in
such a beautiful state. Palm trees, blue skies and the ocean breeze… we live in
paradise, a paradise I am honored to represent every day.

A new report

came out today saying that "few places on the planet are more at risk from the
climate crisis than south Florida." Between rising sea levels, flooding and
hurricanes -- we are at the forefront of the crisis. And we need leaders who
prioritize the climate. That's exactly what I will continue to do.
