The Republican Convention wrapped up last night, and we have just one thing to say: We must defeat Donald Trump this November.
Here’s the truth: Behind the pageantry, stagecraft, and nice-sounding speeches (besides Trump’s — what was that?!) is an extreme agenda that wants to fundamentally alter our country by further restricting our rights and freedoms and undermining our democracy.
They like to talk about ‘unity,’ but there is nothing unifying in trying to control what women can do with their bodies; there is nothing unifying about slashing vital programs like Social Security, Medicare, and the ACA; and there is nothing unifying about valuing big corporations and billionaires over everyday workers.
That’s why we must stand united against their extreme anti-freedom, anti-choice agenda.
