Dear Friends, 

I hope you and your family are safe after this week's devastating storms that impacted most of Northeast Illinois. I applaud the thousands of electricians working around the clock to restore power in our communities. Witnessing Illinoisans across the Second District work together to recover and rebuild from these storms is heartening.

$540,000 for the Rantoul Youth Center

Every child deserves a place in their community where they can feel safe, play with friends, and eat a nutritious meal. I'm proud to have secured $540,000 in upgrades for the Rantoul Youth Center so they can continue to provide vital resources to our children.

Green and Gold Congressional Aide Program 

My office has been selected to participate in the Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program. I am seeking eligible applicants for a two-year paid position serving the needs of Illinois servicemembers, Veterans, and their families.

 2024 Congressional App Challenge

The Congressional App Challenge is a nationwide event that invites middle and high school students in the Second District to compete by creating and exhibiting their original software application, or "app," for mobile, tablet, or computer devices on a platform of their choice.
