John, Kari Lake directly addressed the Republican National Convention.

She had a prime-time slot, one of the biggest of the night. I’m not going to speculate on how many people watched, but I can tell you one thing for sure: It was the biggest platform she’s ever had.

We always knew that this would be one of the closest races in the country. That’s no secret. But we’ve been really fortunate so far because month after month we have absolutely crushed Kari Lake’s fundraising numbers. That gives us a tremendous advantage, and it lets us deliver our message to the people who need to hear it.

All that could change in an instant, though. The kind of national attention that Kari Lake got could turn into millions of dollars raised in the blink of an eye. Big donors send in massive checks, the millions of MAGA faithful add their donations, and before you know it we’re the ones getting crushed. It’s Kari Lake’s ads flooding the airwaves, and our chances at defending Arizona and holding the U.S. Senate collapse.

The only way we’ll prevent that from happening is if we continue to raise the resources we need to win.
