Less than a week ago, we witnessed an attempt on former President Donald Trump's life. I am pushing to address ([link removed]) this massive security breach, to understand how it could have occurred, and what measures we need to implement to prevent such threats in the future.

It also serves as a time for reflection. To tone down the political rhetoric and come together as one nation. We don't agree on everything, and we don't have to. But we do need to be able to talk, connect, and try to understand one another.

From the beginning I have been committed to working across the aisle and representing everyone from my district, regardless of party. You have my word that will continue.

Middle-income families across the United States are facing significant financial pressures as living costs continue to rise faster than incomes.

I am deeply concerned about the impact this has on our wallets and our well-being, and it underscores the urgent need for policies that support economic stability and affordability for all Americans.

That's why I introduced the Lower Grocery Prices Act, that aims to rein in the price of groceries and address the cost of living crisis. And I will continue to advocate for solutions that ensure families can thrive, not just survive.

In our ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and accountability, I have introduced a bill aimed at creating a registry for migrants convicted of felonies.

This proposed legislation is designed to ensure that law enforcement agencies have access to critical information, helping to protect our communities and uphold the rule of law. By implementing this registry, we can better track individuals who have committed serious crimes and ensure they are held accountable.

This initiative is a crucial step in maintaining the safety and security of our neighborhoods, and I am committed to working tirelessly to see it through.

As your representative in Congress, I am committed to ensuring that our seniors receive the healthcare they deserve.

I am proud to support recent legislation aimed at defending Medicare Advantage plans, which are vital for many Upstate New Yorkers. These plans provide comprehensive care and essential benefits tailored to the needs of our senior citizens.

By safeguarding Medicare Advantage, we are upholding our promise to protect the health and well-being of our aging population, ensuring they have access to the quality healthcare they need to live with dignity and peace of mind.

I am pleased to share that we have successfully secured funding for a crucial upgrade to the Town of Chenango’s waste management system.

This project, which represents a significant investment in our community’s infrastructure, will modernize our facilities, enhance operational efficiency, and promote environmental sustainability. These improvements are essential for maintaining the health and well-being of our residents and ensuring that Chenango continues to be a great place to live and work.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this initiative possible. Together, we are building a brighter, cleaner future for our community.
