Friend, when attendees arrived at the RNC Convention this week, they were immediately greeted with this banner from The Heritage Foundation – the right-wing group behind the so-called Project 2025, the blueprint for Trump’s second-term agenda:

Here’s why this is so disturbing: Project 2025 is a 920-page plan to give a Republican President more power over almost every aspect of your daily life – and to gut democratic checks and balances in the process. It threatens to take away reproductive freedom nationwide, give handouts to the ultra-wealthy (paid for by working families), and consolidate power in the Oval Office. And that’s just naming a few of their priorities.

While some Republican politicians will try to pretend this extreme plan doesn’t represent their agenda, this banner being front and center at their convention makes it clear: Project 2025 is the roadmap for Republicans should they once again take power. And those who conceived of and created it both work with and are loyal to Donald Trump.

That’s why we must do everything we possibly can to stop the GOP from winning at the ballot box. We cannot allow ourselves to wake up the morning after Election Day and wish we had done more – not when so much is at stake.

So today, I’m asking you to chip in a donation to Nutmeg PAC – which is dedicated to electing Democrats up and down the ballot, all across the country. Every dollar is crucial to ensuring Democrats have enough resources to counter the GOP, win key battleground races, and safeguard our rights and our democracy.

Please, will you donate $5 or more now to Nutmeg PAC to help Democrats keep the White House, defend our Senate majority, and take back the House?

– Dick
