This week, Trump hosted his Project 2025 Convention in Milwaukee – otherwise known as the Republican National Convention – where he announced his running mate, J.D. Vance.

John, this is perhaps the most extreme far-right presidential ticket our country has ever seen, and Republicans are already chomping at the bit to make a Trump-Vance White House a reality.

I can’t overstate how disastrous that would be for our country.

Trump and Vance are only loyal to themselves and their shady donors, not the American people. And we know for sure that Vance will be a faithful rubber-stamp for the MAGA agenda and Project 2025. His deplorable record tells us everything we need to know: *
Vance
supports
a
total
ban
on
abortion,
without
exceptions
for
incest
or
rape.
He
even
compared
abortion
to
slavery.
*
He
wants
to
criminalize
gender-affirming
care
for
LGBTQ+
youth.
*
Vance
admitted
that
he
would
not
have
certified
the
2020
election
results,
and
has
repeatedly
echoed
Trump’s
baseless
election
denial
lies.
*
He’s
proudly
endorsed
by
the
NRA,
and
has
a
long
record
of
opposing
gun
safety
reforms,
referring
to
gun
violence
as
a
“fake
problem.”

If that’s not enough to prove that a Trump-Vance White House poses a grave threat to our country, I don’t know what is.

MAGA loyalists and extremist Republicans are rallying around this ticket, bringing hoards of dark money donors with them. They’ll say, do, and spend whatever it takes to defeat Democrats and start dismantling our democracy on day one in power.
