For one, we all watched the Republican National Convention this week. We listened to MAGA extremist after MAGA extremist tout Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda. We got a sense of how this backward vision for our country would fundamentally alter America as we know it.
We won’t sugarcoat things: If Trump is elected in November, he will carry out his Project 2025 agenda and strip away our fundamental freedoms one by one.
You still may be asking yourself: But why should I donate today, of all days?
Because there's also the practical reason: We have very real fundraising goals we need to reach in order to win.
These are not arbitrary goals. They are numbers we must hit to fund a campaign that can overcome what Trump and outside groups are spending to defeat us.
