I need to speak frankly with you, John, about Project 2025.

If you've already read up on the GOP's plan to tear down our government in their image and want to help me elect Democrats up and down the ballot this November, you can go ahead and make a donation >> [link removed]

Project 2025 is a nearly 1,000 page policy recommendation from a GOP think tank, The Heritage Foundation, that outlines Republicans’ policy blueprint if they take the majority in the House, Senate, and White House.

As a policy guy, I’m not just going to tell you that Project 2025 is bad for our country. I’m going to explain exactly why these proposals are downright dangerous. Let’s start with how this group wants the GOP to tackle climate change. Hint: they want to pretend like it doesn’t exist.

Under Project 2025, the GOP says they want to:

>Reverse every Biden administration climate change policy immediately.
>Downsize the EPA, severely limiting its regulatory abilities.
>Repeal the Inflation Reduction Act — cutting over $370 billion in investments into clean technology.

Here’s the part that gets me the most: they want GOP leadership to reverse the EPA’s 2009 finding that carbon dioxide harms humans. This would prevent the federal government from passing any regulations on greenhouse gas emissions. It’s downright offensive to suggest we remove language that informs our citizens about harmful chemicals.

I firmly believe the citizens we serve should always be our top priority. This is why I am so dedicated to the fight for climate change solutions. My goal is to find answers that don’t just protect our planet but also uplift the American people.

I don’t stand against Project 2025 simply because it was created by a GOP group. I stand against it because the policy proposals are downright harmful for the people we’re supposed to serve.

I’m working to ensure policies like this never get enacted, but I can’t do it alone. We need to elect Democrats up and down the ballot who will stand up to these extremist and dangerous policies. Will you chip in to help me in this critical fight? >> [link removed]
